textiles collection book
As someone fascinated by movement, strength, and material, I was inspired by climbing rope for this textile collection. The ropes, the shoes, the gear, and the tension between control and chaos. Climbing culture became more than just a reference point, it became a metaphor for design. A place where function meets feeling.
Throughout this book, you'll find a series of hand-made textiles: woven, fused, knotted, stitched, and reimagined. Each piece is made from reused materials mostly climbing rope, made of Polyester and nylon materials that are often overlooked or thrown away, yet still full of potential. From bold, structural weaves to more layered pieces, this collection explores transformation of a certain material.
This is a story of reconstruction, of turning waste into value. I invite you to explore this process and to see these materials not as leftovers, but as starting points.
