The inspiration for my line-up began with a Viktor & Rolf design in which multiple layers appear to be peeled away to reveal something new underneath. Since my concept is rooted in stone textures, I wanted to evoke the feeling that my pieces were carved directly out of stone. I started by sculpting different shapes in clay on paper, experimenting with scale, form, and placement. From there, I explored textures, self-made prints, colors, and trims to bring the designs to life.
